After harvest...

Most of the fields around me harvested now leaving only the remains. Between the remains and the sunset, they make for a unusual and interesting combination. Take a look at these photos from earlier this week and let me know how you like them.

Sun and Clouds

It is amazing some of the pictures the sun makes in the sky. Yesterday was one of those days. With the clouds covering everything and putting a somber mood down on everything, the sun was there the whole time ready to peek through and brighten the day.

Enjoy!

It's Monday....again...

It's Monday again people...the time to start a whole new work week and try to remember what you said you would do today from Friday. Probably not happening, but worth a shot right? lol.

Pause for Crossing

Have you ever had to stop and wait for the train to cross before you can go on? The thoughts that go through your mind probably are something like this..."I have a thousand places to be and things to do and I have to wait on this train...ugh." I have been in that spot many times. But sometimes it is relaxing to just sit there and wait(providing your not in a hurry and thinking previously said thoughts), and think, and count the number of cars on the train.

The Koehn Family

It was a lot of fun and good experience this past weekend doing family pictures for the Koehn's. Mom and I both had a good time and are very happy with the way it all turned out.

Enjoy!

Looking back...

There comes a point in everyone's life where they look back at what has been and what they have done to get where they are now. Some look with regret, while others are happy with their choices that they have made. Regardless of the choices made, and where you are now, it is not too late to do something about the future. Look back and see what was, but also look forward and see what can be.

Harvest Time

Looking around the past couple days, it has been obvious that fall is here. The time where all the farmers work 24/7 to get the crops in. Between the farmers,  the equipment, and some fairly decent backdrops, photos can't really capture the moment like it should be caught. But here is an attempt at it.

Enjoy!

"Did I do that?"

Just a country road...

There's something peaceful and relaxing about the old roads. I love seeing the trees and then as fall comes around, the changing of the leaves, all right there by the road. You can have the highways and freeways, I will take these old roads any day.

Enjoy!

Engagement Photos

It was an amazing day last May when I asked this girl to marry me. We are both counting down the days until it happens now. Below are some of our favorite semi-informal engagement photos, with formal ones to come eventually. Enjoy!

Weekend in Review

What an amazing weekend. From video project, to photo shoots, to a church hay rack ride, and then a great day at church yesterday, it has been amazing. Lots of work, but lots of fun, and definitely worth the late nights.

Saturday Fun...

It has been a full past couple of days. I have been working on a video project recently for church that needs to be ready tomorrow, and then on top of that work, and a photo shoot today, plus a church event....a hay rack ride all afternoon. Burning the midnight oil last night was fun. It is amazing how much you can get done when everything is quiet and peaceful. Have one more night of that tonight and then church all day tomorrow. Will hopefully be able to post it or a link to it once it has been shown. Check back on Monday for pictures from my photo shoot with mom and the Koehn family. Have a great weekend everyone!

It's Fall!

Hey Everyone! After a long break of blogging...I am hoping to get back into it. The past couple months have been swamped with church events and work and all kinds of things like that. Plus, when your busy and don't get out a lot, it tends to get a little boring taking pictures of the same old things all the time.

All that being said, here are some of my favorites from my time outside today. Instead of using my regular 18-55mm lens, I went with the 75-300mm zoom lens. It is amazing the different perspectives you can get of the same places you have been the whole time. Enjoy!

There's always one that has to be different...
